A Golden Opportunity
Spring has arrived, and with it the new and fresh air as we open windows and revisit outdoor activities for our elder residents. We are also opening our doors to potential new community members. Since our homes are so small we take great care ensuring our residents are a good fit with one another, as well as with our staff and our levels of care. Mornings and New Beginnings
Mornings are a special time around our place. The air is quiet and calm, and the day is full of possibilities. For many of our residents, the morning brings a fresh start. Therapy animals, such as Yuki (pictured above) are essential in helping us soothe both residents and staff, while attention to meaningful activities like yoga, gentle walks, and engaging with others help fill our days with intention. Today, our residents received their first official tea service from the smallest care providers at Umstead Pines. Our therapy dog, Yuki was on hand to offer her special brand of comfort. H

Summer Days Bring New Faces
We've welcomed two new residents into our home here at August Estates, and we couldn't be happier. Our staff grows each week to accommodate our growing house, all CNA/Med Techs who make caring for elders their passion. The vision is becoming a reality! We wanted to share this virtual walkthough to our friends and community so you can see what we've built. If you have questions or comments, we'd love to hear your thoughts.
